HRSA COVID-19 Uninsured Program
Children’s Urgent Care Centers is now a participating provider with the HRSA COVID-19 Uninsured Program. As part of the FFCRA and CARES Act, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will provide reimbursement to health care providers under this program for the COVID-19 testing and treatment of uninsured individuals.
Participation in this program requires that the following conditions be met:
1. I am seeking treatment because I have had exposure to COVID-19 or because I have concerns for and/or symptoms consistent with COVID-19.
2. My personal and demographic information will be collected by Children’s Urgent Care and entered into the COVID-19 Uninsured Program database. This information will be used to generate a temporary identification number for the purposes of claims submission.
3. I am currently uninsured and am not enrolled in a federal health care program, a group health plan or health insurance coverage offered by a health insurance issuer in the group or individual market.
4. I understand that a referral for COVID-19 testing is part of treatment and that I will be expected to comply with Children’s Urgent Care orders to present to a suggested testing facility for specimen collection and testing.
